David Brooks, right-wing columnist and general Republican apologist, was allowed to write a review (hatchet job) of The Political Brain for the New York Times Review of Books! This is only one example of the success Republicans have had in intimidating the mainstream media into putting right-wing flacks on their staffs, to fend off the Republican accusation that they're (gasp!)
